  • Katie Woods, Executive Director

Katie Woods has led the NBC World Series since 2022. With over a decade of experience in sports management in Minor League Baseball, she has worked to modernize the tournament while honoring its nearly 90-year history. Her leadership is instrumental as the Foundation moves into this new era.

He is focused on building relationships with sponsors, supporters, and local organizations for the Foundation to ensure that baseball remains accessible and inclusive while strengthening the NBC’s ties to its community.

Looking Ahead

The NBC Baseball Foundation 501c3 officially began operating independently on January 1, 2025. This transition allows the organization to focus more directly on its mission to connect communities through baseball and create meaningful experiences for players and fans alike.

The 91st NBC World Series, scheduled for July 24–August 2 at Eck Stadium in Wichita will continue its tradition as one of the nation’s premier summer collegiate baseball tournaments. Fans can expect top-tier competition and opportunities to celebrate America’s pastime in a family-friendly atmosphere.
