NBC Baseball Foundation

Connecting communities through baseball, empowering young athletes, and preserving America’s pastime for future generations. Through our comprehensive programs and the renowned NBC World Series, we create opportunities for players to showcase their talents while building lasting bonds that extend far beyond the diamond.

Our commitment spans from supporting local youth leagues to celebrating the rich history and traditions that make baseball America’s beloved national pastime.

About the Foundation

With 800+ college/amateur players competing at the NBC World Series every summer, we provide a high level of competition for those looking to make it to the next level.

With initiatives like youth baseball programs, historical preservation projects, and scholarships, our goal is to ensure that baseball remains accessible to players from all walks of life.

We also focus on honoring the legacy of the sport through educational programs and events like the National Baseball Congress Hall of Fame, where baseball’s greatest contributors come together to be recognized and share their memories of their time participating in the NBC.

Our Mission

To bring back a love of the game to baseball players and fans through the NBC World Series, and through events that connect people with America’s pastime.

Our Vision

The NBC Baseball Foundation empowers young athletes, connects communities, and creates lasting memories through our programs and the NBC World Series. Your support preserves our 90-year-old legacy, opens doors for amateur players, and brings the joy of baseball to fans in Wichita and beyond.

What We Do:

The NBC Baseball Foundation is dedicated to connecting communities through baseball. Our comprehensive approach focuses on three key areas:

Celebrating Baseball History

Through National Baseball Congress alumni events, educational programs and partnerships, modernization and preservation of records, and telling the stories of the tens of thousands of players, coaches, alumni, board members, and volunteers who have been a part of the NBC throughout the past 90+ years. We honor the legacy of the sport through educational programs and events like the National Baseball Congress Hall of Fame, where baseball’s greatest contributors come together to be recognized and share their memories.

Growing Baseball’s Future

Through our “Play Hard, Have Fun” campaign, which honors the memory of Kaiser Carlile—the beloved Liberal Bee Jays bat boy whose passion for baseball and joyful approach to life touched everyone he met. This initiative includes youth baseball clinics, grants, and support for equipment, league fees, mentorship programs, connecting NBC alumni with young athletes, scholarships, and community partnerships to reach more kids across Kansas and beyond. We ensure that baseball remains accessible to players from all walks of life.

Highlighting Top Amateur Talent

Through the National Baseball Congress World Series in Wichita, and at events throughout the year. By providing high-level facilities, scouting opportunities, and a platform for players to perform and be spotlighted, the NBC Baseball Foundation is committed to supporting amateur baseball throughout the country.
