What is the NBC World Series?
The NBC World Series is the premier summer collegiate national championship and has been held in Wichita since its inception in 1935. The NBC World Series is one of the oldest continuous sporting events in all of the United States. More than 900 future Major League Baseball players have been a part of the National Baseball Congress.

How many games are played every day?
The 2024 NBC World Series will consist of 35 games over the course of 10 days!
July 25th: Opening Night – 6pm and 8:30pm
July 26th: Noon, 3pm, 6pm and 8:30pm
July 27th: Baseball ‘Round The Clock – Noon, 3pm, 6pm, 9pm and Midnight
July 27th: Baseball ‘Round The Clock – 3am, 6am, 9am, Noon, 3pm and 6pm
July 28th – 29th: Noon, 3pm, 6pm, and 8:30pm
Starts on July 31st: Bracket Play: Noon, 3pm, 6pm and 8:30pm
August 3rd: Championship game time will be 7:00pm

What time do gates open?
Gates open one (1) hour before the first game of the day.

How much are NBC World Series tickets?
Single Day Tickets to the NBC World Series go on sales June 10. Tickets are valid for all games on that event date.

Do kids need a ticket to the NBC World Series?
Kids 2 and under are FREE as long as they are lap sitting.
Kids three and up need a ticket. Get your tickets here!
Kids 12 and under can get a free ticket by registering through our new free Kids Club.

Parking is FREE at WSU – Eck Stadium at 4100 E 21st St N, Wichita, KS 67208.

Can I get NBC World Series merchandise?
Yes, NBC World Series merchandise is available online and will also be available in person every day at the tournament.
You can also stop in our office for some exclusive merchandise. We are located in Clifton Square at 3700 E. Douglas #70, Wichita, KS 67208

Do you accept cash payments?
Cash and all major credit cards are accepted at Eck Stadium for tickets, concessions, and merchandise.
Equity Bank Park is a cashless facility for Championship Night.

Is Outside Food & Drink Allowed?
Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages in sealed containers ARE allowed on Coleman Hill ONLY for all days of the tournament. You can enter through the gate in the right field. Outside food must be kept in the outfield area. Coolers are subject to search, and gas grills are allowed.

What is the difference between the NBC World Series and the College World Series?
The College World Series is run through the NCAA and the teams come from schools that qualify and the players represent their schools. In the NBC World Series, the teams come from various summer leagues from around the country and that is the team they represent.

When did the NBC World Series start?
The NBC World Series started in 1935 when founder Ray “Hap” Dumont offered legendary pitcher Satchel Paige $1,000 to come play in a semi-pro baseball tournament that he was hosting. Satchel brought enough press and attention to keep the tournament going for 90 more years.

How are teams selected for the NBC World Series?
Teams are either given an automatic bid to the tournament or the team wins their NBC-affiliated league. Teams are given automatic bids by finishing first or second in the previous year’s tournament or by showing loyalty and consistency to the NBC over the years.
