The NBC Foundation is dedicated to growing and enhancing sports in our community while paying tribute to our proud baseball tradition. We strive to provide our participants an opportunity to compete against the best, establish and sustain strong partnerships, and provide an entertaining and memorable event for all generations of fans.

Volunteer
The NBC World Series is successful due to the hard work of volunteers who revere the event with great tradition in our community. We look forward to working alongside new and past volunteers each year of the NBC World Series. We’re always in need of more volunteers!
Volunteers receive an NBC shirt, a meal during the evening shift, and tickets to future NBC games when they work at least two shifts.
Volunteer Positions

Usher
The majority of volunteers will be ushering in one of the following areas. We switch people around so not in the same location the entire shift:
- Main concourse – usually at every other walkway entrance to assist with seating, help with maintenance and general questions, including elevator monitor.
- 3rd Base line (near office area and upper bleacher seating) – keep tabs on the walkway. From outfield to infield, fans/kids near bullpen/dugout, and foul ball chase monitor as needed.
- Outfield – help monitor Coleman Hill, food/beverage brought in and keeping people away from the Batter’s Eye (the green wall at Eck Stadium).

Ticket Sales/Scanning
- Assist with sales in ticket booths in front of the stadium and outfield gate.
- Assist with scanning purchased tickets at all gates.

Hospitality
- All-American club wristband/check-in, upstairs at elevator exit.
- All-American club buffet set up, hosting and tear down from arrival at the gate until
cleaned up. - Escort/meet Hall of Fame or other group leaders as needed to help staff.
