Summer 2025 Internship Program – Shape the Future of Baseball!

Ready to get hands-on experience in the exciting world of sports and events? Join the National Baseball Congress for our Summer 2025 Internship Program! This is a unique opportunity for enthusiastic and driven students to gain valuable experience working directly with multiple facilities and sports organizations throughout Wichita. You’ll connect with industry professionals, expand your network, and contribute to the success of a historic national tournament.

As an NBC intern, you’ll gain exposure through our board of directors, vendors, and have the chance to connect with individuals, organizations, and businesses across Wichita. Our internships run from May through mid-August and may require some night and weekend work to support our events. All internships offer a $500 per month stipend, with the potential for additional commission in sales-focused roles.

Explore Our Internship Opportunities:

Sales & Sponsorship Internship:

Dive into sports business! Focus on sales calls, partnership proposals, sponsorship execution, ticketing operations, and creating engaging theme nights.

Earn commission on successful sales!

Baseball Operations & Communications Internship:

Be at the heart of the action! Communicate with teams and players, manage website content, update databases, and create press releases and social media content.

Must have baseball knowledge.

Marketing & Promotions Internship:

Help build the buzz! Assist in marketing plan development, create social media and marketing content, manage email campaigns, update the website, and execute exciting in-game promotions.

Content/Video Production Internship:

Bring the story to life! Organize shoots, edit content for social media, create videos, oversee the NBC World Series livestream, and maintain the video database.

Operations Internship:

Be the engine behind the event! Assist in event planning and organization, including set up and tear down, and support various operational areas like ticketing, venue logistics, and volunteer coordination.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
