Give Your Team a Night on the Field at the 2026 NBC World Series

Baseball Buddies, presented by Pella, lets local youth teams step between the lines before first pitch at the 92nd NBC World Series, July 23–August 1 in Wichita.

There is nothing quite like seeing your team’s faces the first time they walk onto the field at the NBC World Series. Baseball Buddies, presented by Pella, gives local youth baseball and softball teams a chance to stand shoulder‑to‑shoulder with NBC players during pregame festivities and create a night they will talk about all season.

Each Baseball Buddies experience includes:

  • On‑field access before the game, with your team and coaches heading down to the field together.
  • Time by the dugout to watch warmups up close and meet NBC World Series players.
  • Standing on the field with the teams for the National Anthem.
  • Free game tickets for every player so they can stay and enjoy the game with their teammates in the stands.
  • A souvenir for each player, courtesy of the NBC and Pella.

How Baseball Buddies works in 2026

  • Who can participate: Youth baseball or softball teams are welcome to register, up to two teams per night with up to 15 players per team. Spots are limited and must be reserved in advance.
  • When to arrive: Teams arrive at the ballpark by 5:30 p.m., with first pitch at 6:00 p.m. The early arrival window gives your players time to check in, head down to the field, and get settled for warmups.
  • Tickets for players and families: Every Baseball Buddies player receives a free ticket to that night’s NBC World Series game(s). Families and friends can purchase additional group tickets for just $8 each, so the whole team community can be there to cheer.
  • What to wear: Players are encouraged to wear their team jerseys and caps so they look and feel like part of the show when they step onto the field.
  • Where you sit: After the Anthem, players and coaches head to the stands to watch the game together, using their tickets to sit in designated Baseball Buddies seating.

How to request a Baseball Buddies date

Baseball Buddies nights are available on select dates during the 2026 NBC World Series, and many nights fill quickly.

To request your preferred night:

  1. Use the online request form and share your team’s information, contact details, and preferred date(s).
  2. Wait for confirmation from the NBC staff with your assigned date and instructions. Email info@nbcbaseball.com with questions.
  3. Share the family & friends ticket link with your families so they can purchase $8 group tickets in advance.
