From October 1-15, the NBC Baseball Foundation is celebrating the traditions that make our tournament special with our first Step Up to the Plate campaign, culminating in our inaugural Day of Giving on October 15.
Just as Hap Dumont took a bold chance bringing Satchel Paige to Wichita in 1935, we’re doing something new—inviting our baseball community to show that grassroots baseball still matters, that the stories and dreams happening here are worth preserving.
