Each year, community volunteers are recognized for their commitment to improving the places where they live, work, and play. These volunteers work in a diverse grouping of non-profits across the area and have impacted the people around them in many ways.

The Terry Brewster Community Volunteer Award honors the legacy of Terry Brewster, a devoted NBC supporter and former board member. Terry’s passion for Wichita sports, particularly youth sports, was a cornerstone of his life and his contributions to the Wichita community. In his memory, we recognize exceptional residents who selflessly dedicate their time, talent, and resources to uplift others in their community.
- Nominations are welcome from any local nonprofit and do not need to be sports-related.
- Please note that nominations do not carry over from year to year. If a nominee was not selected previously, we encourage you to submit their name again.
- Selected honorees will receive 4 tickets to the NBC World Series game, where they will be recognized on the field during the feature game, and their stories will be shared.
