Tournament Format

 16 teams; teams will be divided into 4 pools with 4 teams in each pool.

The field will consist of teams that have automatic bids for the tournament and teams that won their respected NBC affiliated league.

Pool play will be from July 25th (opening night) through the 30th.

 Each team will play 3 pool play games.

The top 3 teams from each pool advance to single-game elimination bracket play that starts on the 31st.

The top team in each pool will receive a bye for the first round of bracket play. 

The championship game will be on August 3rd.

Tickets

  • Single game tickets will go on sale on June 10th; however, group tickets and tournament passes are on sale now.
  • Group tickets start at $7/person for groups of 10 or more for Upper General Admission.
  • Purchasing a tournament pass guarantees you admission to every game, Tournament Passes start at $60 for Upper General Admission, but prices will raise on June10th. 

Baseball ‘Round THe Clock Returns July 27

One of the most well-known and celebrated traditions of the NBC World Series has always been Baseball ‘Round The Clock. The brainchild of former NBC tournament director Steve Shaad, BRTC featured 17 games played in 56 hours when it first started. After an eight-year hiatus, Baseball ‘Round the Clock returns to the NBC World Series in 2024 with 11 straight games played over the course of 33 hours. You must sign up for a BRTC ticket and check in at the random time(s) at every game to officially survive Baseball ‘Round the Clock.

How it works

  • Games will be played back-to-back from noon on Saturday, July 27 through a 6:00 pm game on Sunday, July 28 – a total of 11 games in 33 hours.
  • To be eligible for any of the prizes associated with Baseball ‘Round the Clock, you must purchase a BRTC ticket ($20), or if you are a tournament pass holder email tickets@nbcbaseball.com to add BRTC to your pass for $10.
  • All participants must also sign a waiver and agree to the rules & regulations prior to the first game to be eligible.
  • If you complete every check-in during BRTC within the assigned timeframe, you will receive a BRTC shirt, a tournament pass for the rest of the week, and be entered to win a variety of exciting prizes.

Origins

  • The tournament was first established in 1935 by Hap Dumont in Wichita, Kansas.

Can’t make it in Person?

Every game of the NBC World Series will be livestreamed for free on the NBC World Series’ YouTube Channel.
