Bio: Kevin Jenks serves as the General Manager of NBC Baseball Foundation and Tournament Director for the NBC World Series. The soft-throwing righty has worked in sports, to some capacity, his entire career. A lifelong fan of the NBC World Series, his career knuckleballed to the NBC in 2013.


Jason Ybarra

Director of Operations

Hometown: Wellington, Kansas

College: Cowley CC — AA; Wichita State University, Sport Management — BA

Debut: February 2015

Walk-Up Song: “March of Pigs” — Nine Inch Nails

Bio: Jason Ybarra serves as the Director of Operations for the NBC World Series. The short and stocky right hander has tried to play every sport, but was never gifted an ounce of athletic talent. His passion was making everyone upset at sporting event as a sports referee, and has been known to make at least 51 percent of the fans remember that one bad call.


David Kirk

Debut: July 2018

Walk-Up Song: “Copperhead Road” — Steve Earle

Bio: The Texas native previously spent 11 years in the commercial sales industry before entering sport sales. Since then he has served sales and business development roles with the Tulsa Drillers of the Texas League and most recently with the Round Rock Express, AAA affiliate of the Houston Astros.


Ellise McGowan

Hometown: C-CITY (Carson City), Nevada

College: Newman University, Sport Communications — BS

Debut: May 2017

Walk-Up Song: “Electric Avenue” — Eddy Grant

Bio: Ellise McGowan serves as the National Baseball Congress’ Relationships Manager and oversees the marketing efforts related to the NBC World Series. The retired, collegiate softball player has been with the NBC World Series since 2017 and continues to bring her creative and fun, loving spirit to the team.
