The Seattle Studs' Benson kept the Conejo Oaks off the scoreboard for all nine innings he was on the hill. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on four hits while ringing up four.
The Seattle Studs were led by a flawless day at the dish by Kyle Boe, who went 2-2 against the Conejo Oaks' pitching. He singled in the first and sixth innings.
Landon Hunt couldn't get it done on the hill for the Conejo Oaks, taking a loss. He threw five innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
